What practical example might you use to explain the ksiasmus and its presence in the fabric of creation to a Sunday school student? Asking for myself, hoping to be numbered amongst them virtually in so doing
Oh, as I said, my Sunday school students are young children. I specifically do not talk about chiastic structures with them. But when I'm preparing, that kind of formal contemplation does point out to me, for example, the centrality of blessed meekness inheriting the earth/land, so with the children I teach them what meekness is, what even the word means, how important it is not to be controlled by their anger, how not to return meanness when others are mean to them, and how this all relates to Christ on the Cross and the way of virtue He thereby shows us.
Ah I see - a learned botanist who desires to farm needs only to sews seeds in fresh soil and let it grow, as you say! Thank you. Have you thought about the structures of the Divine Liturgy or the Pre-sanctified Liturgy?
Ευχαριστώ Cormac! This was a marvel-ous read!

The Divine Liturgy is generally triadic, like Friday, Saturday, Sunday:
ς. Liturgy of Preparation
ζ. Liturgy of the Word
η. Liturgy of the Faithful
